Bio
The Jerks formed originally in 2000 while still in high school and played parties, porches, sheds and alleyways until a car crash cemented their line-up in 2002. The band is made up of Simon LeBrat on the guitar and vocals, AL-X on drums, Jake Generic on bass and vocals and Matthew Murder on vocals and guitar. Since 2002 The Jerks have played frenetic, anarchic punk rock shows any time or place possible and supported the likes of Against Me!(USA), Me First And The Gimme Gimmes(USA), H-Block 101, Frenzal Rhomb, Tiger Army (USA), Suicide Machines (USA), Turbonegro (NOR), Less Than Jake (USA), Goldfinger (USA), Bouncing Souls (USA), as well as playing the opening slot at 2003's "Loudmouth at the Drive" festival, Memorial Drive.

Their first full length LP "Revolution Time" was released in February 2004 on Two Bucks Records and was sold out to point of being out of print within a year, consistently rearing its head in the SAMIA charts throughout that time. The LP got airplay from 3D and JJJ here in Australia and tracks from it were included on numerous overseas compilations and played on Canadian and Irish radio programs.

Their second full length "Waiting For The Breakdown", released on Two Bucks Records and distributed Australia-wide through Reverberation and it has done nothing but good things for the band, hitting the SAMIA charts at number 1 and staying there for many weeks to come. With a new album and touring plans ahead the future looks to be a busy one for The Jerks.
