Bio
Equal Minded started roughly around the start of 2002 in Adelaide, with all the band members at a young age and no real previous band experience. Since then they have grown together in friendship and music. The band's music can be described as emotionally driven death metal with elements of both hardcore and punk. The lyrics deal with the importance of friendships as the basis of a community.

Although the members are still by current day standards, young, Equal Minded are Veterans of playing shows with the best of local bands and interstate bands in Adelaide as well as playing in Queensland with A Secret Death. After releasing a couple of independent demos earlier in the bands career Equal Minded sparked interest in a number of promoters and went on and signed to TWO BUCKS Records in 2004 and have since released a new EP called "We made our heroes up."

Since the release it has opened up a lot of opportunities for the band and has help them getting more touring bands supports and help them tour themselves.
